- Details: Strikingly beautiful Mid Century barware set in pristine condition and a very RARE pattern. Ice Bucket with 6 whiskey/rocks glasses in gorgeous burgundy red with golden swirls, flowers and other golden details. It is a very elegant set, and has a rich history going back to 1856, De Valbor, made in Italy, by a glass cooperative, (Soc.Artistico-Vetraria (SAV) formed in Altara in December 1856). De Valbor was one of the many glass brands produced by SAV. Fast forward to 1960, the Boccolini family of Milan had undertaken the decoration of glassware produced under the De Valbor name. Based on the style of this set, we dated them between 1960 and the 1970's. This set will be heavy, there are 7 pieces of glass in all, and will need lots of wrapping to get to you safely, please keep that in mind at check-out. The style is unmistakably Retro, will enhance any bar or bar-cart. Makes an excellent gift.
